What robots are used in construction?
Single-task machines on real sites, not general-purpose builders.
The record holds construction robots doing one job each and doing it on a named site: gantry printers extruding walls, a truck-mounted bricklayer, rebar-tying robots, a layout printer marking floor plans, drywall finishers, a semi-autonomous ceiling driller, hydrodemolition machines and autonomous earthmoving retrofits. None of them builds a building. Each replaces or accelerates one repetitive task inside a build, and the registry records where and when.

What they actually do. The corpus divides cleanly by task even though no field on the record labels it that way: gantry systems that extrude concrete walls layer by layer, a truck-mounted bricklaying arm, robots that tie rebar on bridge decks, a floor printer that marks the building's layout directly onto the slab, drywall-finishing robots, a semi-autonomous drilling robot for overhead holes, hydrodemolition machines that strip damaged concrete with high-pressure water, retrofits that make excavators run autonomously, and a scanner that roams the site building a 3D progress model. Each machine on the page is described in its own record's words rather than sorted into a taxonomy DEPLOY invented.
Where they are. Named places rather than a global claim: Austin, Tempe, Newark, Memphis, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington and other US sites, plus Dubai, Zhengzhou, Bromley in the UK, Amsterdam, Sogndal in Norway, Australia and the European Union.
How good the evidence is. This is the best-dated corpus on the registry: every single deployment record carries a start date, which no other form factor manages. The weaker axis is who is speaking. Construction robotics is heavily marketed, and a real share of these records rest entirely on the manufacturer's own website. The page flags each of those rather than letting a vendor page read as corroboration.
And what is missing. Several reviewed models in this class carry no deployment record at all. They are named rather than quietly dropped, because a machine existing is not evidence that anyone is using it.

Three different claims, kept apart
Each column is attributed to what it actually describes. The third is the claim DEPLOY refuses to make.
One machine, one task, one named site
Every row is a reviewed deployment at a specific place, and every one carries a start date. Each machine does a single job inside a build: printing walls, laying brick, tying rebar, marking layout, finishing drywall, drilling, demolishing or moving earth.
A general-purpose builder
Nothing on this page builds a building. The 3D printers come closest by producing wall structures on site, but the rest of the trade sequence still happens around them. A construction robot on the record is a specialist tool, not an autonomous contractor.
That the remaining sources are independent
A row is flagged when every source behind it sits on the maker's own domain. The rest are described only as not the maker's own domain: a press-release wire or a general contractor's own project page is neither the manufacturer nor a disinterested party.

3 of the 27 reviewed construction models on the registry carry no deployment record. That is an absence in DEPLOY’s record, not a finding that these machines have never been used on a site. Naming them is more useful than leaving them out.

How we know this
Every machine on this page is a deployment record on the DEPLOY registry, read live at page load, with its own site, its own dated start and its own sources. The split between in use and trial comes from each record's own status rather than from editorial judgement, and each machine is described in its own model record's words. Here are the sources behind them.
Sourcing is tested against each maker's company name and model name, so a row resting entirely on the manufacturer's own domain is visible as one. The reviewed models with no deployment record are named on the page rather than omitted: that is an absence in DEPLOY's record, not a finding that those machines have never been used.
