Uber x Lucid Motors (Robotaxi Fleet)
Apr 2026 expansion of the Lucid-Uber robotaxi vehicle and equity relationship (Nuro remains autonomy partner on the broader program): Uber increased its Lucid vehicle purchase commitment to at least 35,000 (Gravity + Midsize) and added $200M equity to reach $500M total investment in Lucid (Lucid IR 14 Apr 2026). First VPA minimum is 20,000 Gravity Plus; Second VPA adds 25,000 Midsize Plus over six years after late-2028-targeted SOP, with offsets to an aggregate of at least 35,000 (Lucid 10-Q).
