[ThyssenKrupp AG](https://www.thyssenkrupp.com) is a German industrial engineering and steel production conglomerate formed in 1999 from the merger of Thyssen AG and Friedrich Krupp AG, headquartered in Duisburg and Essen. The company operates automated steel production lines and robotic manufacturing systems, and its subsidiary ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems manufactures naval vessels including submarines and frigates.

Agile Robots is a Chinese-German robotics company founded in 2018, headquartered in Munich, developing force-controlled intelligent robots including the [Diana 7](/models/agile-robots-diana-7), a 7-axis robotic arm with torque sensors in all axes. Led by CEO Zhaopeng Chen, the company has raised ~USD 1.5B from [SoftBank](https://www.softbank.group) and others. Revenue was EUR 300M in 2025, set to double in 2026. Agile has acquired 12+ companies including idealworks and thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering, and partnered with [Google DeepMind](/companies/google-deepmind) to integrate Gemini Robotics foundation models into its hardware.
