Supernal x Korean Air (eVTOL Development)

Supernal is [Hyundai motor group](/companies/hyundai-motor-group)'s Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) division, headquartered in Fountain Valley, California. Formerly known as Hyundai Urban Air Mobility, Supernal is developing the S-A2 eVTOL aircraft for urban air taxi services with a complete end-to-end AAM network vision including vertiports, robotaxi integration, and clean-energy ecosystem. Supernal leverages Hyundai's automotive manufacturing expertise for AAM. The company is targeting certification in the late 2020s and plans to initiate prototype flight testing with a full-scale technology demonstrator.
