[Amazon web services](/companies/amazon-web-services) (AWS) is the cloud computing division of Amazon, providing on-demand cloud platforms including compute, storage, database, and AI/ML services. AWS powers infrastructure for autonomous vehicle simulation, robotics development, and AI training workloads.

Sabey Data Centers is a privately held US operator of wholesale and colocation data centers, spun out of Seattle-based Sabey Corporation in 2010 in partnership with National Real Estate Advisors. The company designs, builds and operates its own campuses under a vertically integrated model, running six active facilities in Ashburn (Virginia), Austin (Texas), East Wenatchee and Quincy (Washington), Manhattan (New York) and Seattle, plus a seventh campus under construction in Umatilla, Oregon. The portfolio spans more than 3.5 million square feet across the eastern Washington Columbia Basin, the Northern Virginia corridor, downtown Manhattan and central Texas, a geographic mix that mirrors Sabey's origins as a Pacific Northwest developer that later pushed east chasing hyperscale and AI demand. The SDC Manhattan tower has been positioned by the company as an AI-inference hub, and its Austin campus hosts the Texas Advanced Computing Center's NSF Leadership-Class "Horizon" supercomputer. In July 2026 Sabey announced a strategic investment from Ares Management, and the company has publicly linked expansion plans to advanced-nuclear generation through a collaboration with TerraPower on Natrium plant siting. Leadership sits with President Tim Mirick and Executive Director John Sabey, son of founder Dave Sabey.
