Rugged Robotics is a construction technology company founded by Derrick Morse, developing ruggedized robotic solutions for construction site layout automation. Its [Mark1](/models/mark1) robot automates construction layout tasks, and the company has partnered with Hensel Phelps on hyperscale data center construction.

Victor, NY-based [Construction](/companies/construction-robotics) robotics company that developed the SAM100 (Semi-Automated Mason) bricklaying robot, capable of laying up to 3,000 bricks per day. Co-founded by Scott Peters (CEO) and Nathan Podkaminer (architect and construction project manager), Construction Robotics also developed the MULE (Material Unit Lift Enhancer) smart lifting device for construction. SAM 2.0 marked a 10-year development effort.
