Who’s involved
Rocos was a New Zealand-based robotics software company that developed a cloud-based platform for robot fleet management. Founded in 2017 in Auckland, Rocos partnered with [Boston Dynamics](/companies/boston-dynamics) to provide cloud-based remote management for the Spot quadruped robot. The company was acquired by DroneDeploy in August 2021 for a reported eight-figure sum, with co-founder David Inggs joining DroneDeploy as head of ground robotics.
