LUMOS Robotics (鹿明机器人) is a Shenzhen-based humanoid robotics company founded in 2024 by CEO Yu Chao, a Tsinghua University graduate and former head of Dreame Technology's humanoid robot business. The company develops the LUS1 full-size humanoid robot and the MOS heavy-duty wheeled arm robot, powered by its proprietary Nexcore physical AI engine. LUMOS has raised approximately 1B RMB (~140M USD) across A1 and A2 funding rounds led by [Mitsubishi Electric](/companies/mitsubishi-electric), and offers 100 NIX humanoid robots for global co-creation projects through its Project EDGE initiative.
