[Keio University Biorobotics Lab](https://www.global-sdgs.keio.ac.jp/en/st/research/learning/0404_01/), led by Professor [Takashi Maeno](https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Takashi-Maeno/4) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at [Keio University](https://www.keio.ac.jp/en/), researches actuators, sensors, and robots inspired by living organisms. Key areas include dexterous robot hands using ultrasonic motors, master/slave haptic interfaces for teleoperation, artificial fingers with distributed tactile sensors, and multi-DOF ultrasonic motor design. The lab is part of Keio's Faculty of Science and Technology in Yokohama, Japan.
