CALB x BMZ Group Battery Strategic Cooperation
CALB and BMZ Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in 2022 to develop and manufacture batteries for EMEA Americas and APAC markets. CALB is building a Zero Carbon AI Gigafactory in Sines Portugal expected to deliver cells starting 2027 which will supply BMZ Group European facilities and South American production as an alternative to Asian supply chains.
