What the Segway Navimow knows about you
The Segway Navimow is a wire-free autonomous robotic lawn mower line that replaces the buried perimeter wire with RTK satellite positioning fused with vision sensors, via Segway's EFLS (Exact Fusion Locating System). It delivers centimetre-level navigation and app-defined virtual boundaries across the i, H, and X series. Newer models add Network RTK for antenna-free setup and visual SLAM for performance under tree cover and near buildings. The X4 series, launched February 2026, adds all-wheel drive and 360-degree AI obstacle detection for estates up to 2.5 acres.

What you can control
What it collects about you
The data this device picks up.
Your location
Uses satellite, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, odometer, Bluetooth, WiFi, and cell towers for precise positioning, and generates 4 to 8 GB of data per day including GPS, camera images, and LiDAR on select models.
Where your data goes
Who else can see it once it leaves the device.
Shared with others
The app integrates at least eight outside SDKs including Google Maps, Firebase, Zendesk, Salesforce, and NetEase, each receiving your device identifiers and usage data.
Sent to the cloud
About 90 percent of operational data stays on the device. Only about 10 percent goes to remote servers. Location is processed locally and is not accessible to Navimow unless needed for tech support.
Training their AI
You can opt in to share anonymized crash and collision data to help improve recognition. This data is not linked to your account or serial number. No broader AI training practices are disclosed.
What you can control
Your say over the data it holds.
Kept on the device
GPS and vision sensor data are processed entirely on-device by default. Your location is not accessible to Navimow unless needed for tech support. About 90 percent of all operational data stays on the mower.
How long they keep it
Most operational data is kept for only one month. Firmware and error logs are kept for three years. Your settings and maps stay until you change or delete them.
Deleting your data
You can disable vision data collection and opt out of anonymized data sharing in the app anytime. You can also exercise GDPR and US state rights including deletion and opt-out of sale by contacting privacy@navimow.com.
