Avride delivery robots collect outward-facing video and images of roadways, pedestrians, other vehicles, and the surrounding environment, incidentally capturing faces and license plates; the company applies default face blurring at or near the point of capture for video intended for storage or downstream use.

Avride remote operators track vehicle location in real time during deliveries; precise geolocation data is collected and classified as sensitive data under certain privacy laws, and consent to collection of sensitive data including precise geolocation is required to use the service.

Shared with others

Avride discloses trip-related data including trip identifiers, vehicle identifier, and vehicle location and telemetry with timestamps to third-party platforms such as Uber Eats; data may also be transferred to affiliated entities, service providers, and internationally to countries where engineering resources are located including Israel, Belgrade, and Serbia.

How long they keep it

Avride retains personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in the privacy policy; no specific retention timeframes in months or years are published for robot camera footage, sensor data, or delivery records.
